Whack a Mole Cardboard Game

Don’t toss away those Amazon shipping boxes! Cats, as we know, love cardboard boxes, and they’ll love them even more if you turn them into a fun DIY toy.

It’s super easy! Grab any cardboard box, open up one side, and cut out small circles or squares on the other side. You are now ready to play.

Cats have a natural instinct to hunt, so they’ll eagerly try to grab and chew on the blunt stick as you poke it through the holes in a random pattern. For our cats, it worked even better when we used a feather wand (as shown in the video below).
